Instead, the player to the left of the dealer has the requisite small blind and a large blind.
Another version of the game is the five-card draw. Rather than drawing from a standard deck of cards, the player receives replacement cards from an undisclosed part of the pack. For this game, the ante is often twice as high as the previous limit.
As in most card games, there are a number of nuances and rules to consider. One of the most important is the ante. Usually, the minimum ante is required to play the game, although it is not always required.
Besides the ante, players are also required to make a few forced bets. Some of these are the simplest, such as the oh-so-popular “blink,” which is the smallest bet that a player can make. But, the most important bet is the one that requires the most effort. Many games require players to shuffle or fold their hands.
